Elmwood History Video
Library of Congress Grant Project
Produced by Steven Marx, Ph.D., http://www.stevenmarx.com

Made possible by a Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources grant, this video traces the history of Elmwood, Illinois.  As part of the project, students from Elmwood Junior High School traced the history of Elmwood by researching and analyzing primary documents, and through a series of interviews with residents; uncovering the history of the community and the people, events, customs, and traditions that have shaped it.

The following faculty members in the Department of Teacher Education at Bradley University served as coordinators for the Teaching with Primary Sources Project, sponsored by the Library of Congress and the Federation of Independent Illinois Colleges & Universities.
